Sivan Krems picked up a singles win as the Princeton women's tennis team wrapped the first day of play at Penn's Cissie Leary Invitatonal Friday.
Four Tigers are in the event, with Krems joined by Sara Goodwin, Alanna Wolff and Catalina Vives. Goodwin and Vives, Princeton's only doubles pair, fell in their first-round and consolation matches, while Wolff, Vives and Goodwin were tripped up in their singles first-round matches. Krems defeated Temple's Galina Chernykh 6-4, 7-6(6).
Updated draws are available at the above link. Play is set to start at 9 a.m. Saturday to complete the doubles draws and play two rounds of singles.
