Walton Ties for Third, Tigers Take Fourth at Princeton Invitational

Sophomore Maya Walton was the top Tiger and nearly at the top of the leaderboard as the Princeton Invitational wrapped up Sunday at Springdale Golf Club.

Walton tied for third with Rollins' Seher Atwal at +6, behind only Yale's Jennifer Peng (+5) and tournament winner Jacquelyn Eleey (-3) of Georgetown. The Hoyas also took home the team title by 14 strokes over Harvard with Rollins in third, one shot back of the Crimson, and Princeton in fourth, three shots back of Rollins in the 10-team field.

The Tigers will compete again next weekend at the Yale Women's Intercollegiate, their third of four tournaments on the fall slate.
