Princeton Returns To Winning Ways, Sweeps Penn At The Palestra

The Princeton women's volleyball team shook off its previous weekend in strong fashion, sweeping Penn to improve to 6-2 in the Ivy League. The win sets up a showdown for first place next Friday night at Dillon Gym, as the Tigers will host 7-1 Yale on the Ivy League Network.
Sophomore Devon Peterkin recorded a team-best 10 kills for the Tigers, while classmate Natasha Skov hit an efficient .471 with nine kills. Maggie O'Connell and Caroline Sklaver combined for 13 kills and nine blocks, while freshman Clare Lenihan added six kills.
Princeton used both of its setters, and each was efficient. Sophomore Jessie Harris had a team-high 16 assists, while junior Claire Nussbaum posted a double-double with 13 assists and 12 digs. Senior libero Maddie Huber added 11 digs for the Tigers, who return home to open a four-match homestand in Ivy play with that Friday showdown against Yale. Princeton handed Yale its only Ivy loss of the season, though the Bulldogs moved past Princeton in the Ivy standings last weekend.
