Princeton sophomore Maya Walton is tied for second and three shots off the pace heading into Sunday's final round at the Yale Women's Intercollegiate in New Haven.Â
Walton stands at +1 after a 1-over 72 Saturday, even with Stirling's Hazel MacGarvie and three strokes back of Chloe Goadby, also from Stirling in Scotland.
Sunday's final round is an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.Â
With two of the top three players and three of the top eight, Stirling leads in the chase for the team title at +12 by 10 strokes over Lamar. Princeton stands ninth in the 15-team field at +35.
