Some notes about Georgia Tech –
Francesca Pan – Pan registered 13 points against Princeton on Sunday, but the Tigers made her go 4-of-14 from the floor (28.5 percent). The sophomore did not make a basket inside the three-point line, going 0-for-4 and made just one basket in the final 10 minutes of game action.
GT's Balanced Scoring – The Yellow Jackets had three players score in double-figures in Chanin Scott (16 points), Pan (13 points) and Elo Edeferioka (10 points). After shooting just 32.1 percent in the first half, Georgia Tech went 15-of-30 in the second half to hold a Princeton rally.
Swarming Defense – Georgia Tech's defense was impressive in the first half as Princeton registered just 17 points and 17.8 percent shooting. However, the Tigers had offensive success in the second half, putting up 39 points on 45.2 percent from the floor. Princeton also knocked down eight three-pointers in the final 20 minutes of game action.
Davidson is 2-2 on the season after going 6-23 the year before. Sarah Donovan was selected as the A-10 Rookie of the Week after averaging 14.5 points, while pulling in 7.0 rebounds a game in two games last week. Donovan shot 47.4 percent from the floor and was 11-of-13 from the free throw line. She had swished home her first 13 straight free throws to start the year before missing two this past week.
