Colina, Duncan and Mitrovic Named Honorable Mention All-America

PRINCETON, N.J. – Jordan Colina, Sean Duncan and Vojislav Mitrovic were selected as Division I Varsity All-Americans, the Collegiate Water Polo Association announced today.
Colina, Duncan and Mitrovic were named honorable mention All-America. Princeton has had 16 players reach All-America status, totaling 34 accolades. Princeton has had three All-Americans in each of the past two seasons, tying a program record (2014, 2016-17).
Colina led the team with 70 goals and 66 steals. The senior added 35 assists, 24 drawn ejections and 20 sprint victories. His 70 tallies are the sixth highest in a single-season in program history. He is one of six players ever to reach the 200-goal milestone, sitting with 226 career tallies. This is his second straight All-America honor.
Duncan registered 67 goals and drew a team-high 72 ejections. The sophomore also swiped 20 passes, blocked 11 shots and had four assists. This is his first All-America award.
Mitrovic became just the fourth player in Princeton history to record All-America distinction in each of his four years (Kevin Foster, Drew Hoffenberg and Thomas Nelson). The senior goalie posted a 17-6 record with a .588 save percentage and 297 saves. The 2017 Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Player of the Year is the program's all-time leader in saves with 1,142.
Princeton went 22-6 this season and reached the NWPC Championship game. The Tigers defeated four California teams and eight ranked opponents during the 2017 season, finishing No. 14 in the final Varsity Poll.
