Golfstat Live Scoring
Three rounds of golf on the Catalina Course at the Omni Tucson National in Arizona are ahead for the Princeton men's golf team Monday and Tuesday as the spring season begins with the National Invitational Tournament.
Eleven Golfstat top-100 teams are included in the 16-team field, led by No. 17 UNLV and No. 27 Arizona State with No. 40 BYU also in the top 50. Play will begin at 10 a.m. ET/8 a.m. MT each day, with two rounds set for Monday.Â
It'll be Princeton's first visit to Tucson, as the Tigers have previously played three tournaments in Arizona, all in the Phoenix area including an Arizona State-hosted event last spring.Â
The Arizona tournament is the first of four in the spring for the Tigers after a fall season that included five events with a high finish of fourth at Yale's MacDonald Cup. The three remaining spring events will take place in April, including a visit to Chambers Bay in Washington, the Princeton Invitational, and the Ivy League Championship in Greenwich, Conn. During the fall, four Tigers took a turn leading the team over the five events, with junior Marc Hedrick finishing as the top Tiger at both the MacDonald Cup and Northwestern's Windon Memorial. Hedrick's eighth-place finish at the Yale event was the team's best of the fall.
