PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton Tigers clinched a berth to the Ivy League Tournament with their victory over the Columbia Lions on Friday. Princeton currently sits second in the Ivy standings, a half-game up on the Harvard Crimson.

Taylor Brown – The senior point guard had her fourth straight game with double figures, posting 11 points against Columbia on Friday. Brown also had five rebounds, three assists and two steals on Senior Day vs. Cornell.

Bella Alarie – The freshman was outstanding against Columbia, going 6-of-7 from the floor, scoring 15 points. She grabbed six rebounds, swiped four passes and three assists. All of this in just 22 minutes of game action in the Tigers' 24-point victory. The Bethesda, Md., native just missed a double-double with nine points and eight rebounds vs. Cornell. Alarie contributed a steal and her 45th block of the season, a new Princeton freshman single-season record.

Senior Day – The three seniors, Taylor Brown, Jackie Reyneke and Vanessa Smith, combined for 12 points in the Tigers' 55-44 loss to Cornell on Saturday. Prior to the game, the program honored the group. The trio have a record of 89-26 including 45-8 in the Ivy League. They have been to three postseason tournaments including winning the program's first WNIT and NCAA Tournament games.

Closing Out Columbia - Unlike the first meeting where Columbia turned a 22-point deficit to six in the second half, Princeton shut the door on its Ivy foe on Friday. The Tigers held the Lions to just four baskets in the second half. In front by 11 as the fourth quarter got underway, Princeton put the contest away with a 15-0 run during a four-minute stretch. In that span, the Tigers were 5-of-7 (71.4 percent), forced three Lions turnovers and held the road team to 0-of-6 from the floor.

Megan LeDuc – The Cornell senior was one of four players to score at least 10 points as she contributed 11 on 4-of-8 shooting. LeDuc had a quality all-around game as she made two three-pointers, grabbed four rebounds, dished out four assists and snagged three steals in the victory.
