Wake Forest Defeats Women's Tennis, 5-2

Princeton took the doubles point, but Wake Forest rallied to win five singles contests and take Sunday's match against Princeton in Jadwin Gym, 5-2.
Caroline Joyce and Nicole Kalhorn clinched the doubles win at first after Sivan Krems and Katrine Steffensen at second to give the Tigers a 1-0 lead. Wake Forest's two ITA-ranked singles players, Kimmy Guerin and Emma Davis, won their matches on the first two courts to give the Demon Deacons the 2-1 lead, and two more straight-set matches on courts five and six clinched the win. Joyce won at third to give the Tigers a second point before Wake Forest won on four for the 5-2 final.
The Tigers will compete in the ECAC Championship beginning Friday at Harvard.
