The Princeton women's lacrosse team is in the middle of a stretch that will see it play seven of eight games on Sherrerd Field. The Tigers just finished a run of four straight home games, and this coming Wednesday will be the first of three more in a row at home.
Up next, though, is the one road game in the month of March, and in fact a 35-day span. Princeton, ranked fifth this week, will be at Dartmouth Saturday for the 45th meeting with the Big Green.
Princeton has played six games to date, with five at home and only a 17-10 win at Virginia back on Feb. 25. Princeton's most recent game was this past Tuesday, when the Tigers fell 13-8 to Penn State, a Final Four team a year ago, for its first loss of the year.
While Princeton played a midweek game this week, Dartmouth will have had eight days off since its last outing, and both teams will be coming into this one after playing Top 10 teams. Dartmouth won its first four games of the season before losing to Columbia in its Ivy opener and, most recently, to USC 19-8 in a game that was tied 8-8 early in the second half. That game was played March 17.
