Reynolds Named Ivy League Softball Player of the Week

A week after Kaylee Grant was named Ivy League softball Player of the Week and Erica Nori earned the league's weekly pitching honor, Marissa Reynolds has followed up with her own Ivy Player of the Week award.
Reynolds led the team with a .526 batting average, drawing nine walks and a hit-by-pitch to supplement her 10 hits her 29 trips to the plate for a .690 on-base percentage. Four of those 10 hits were doubles and one a home run to compile an .895 slugging percentage.
On the season, the senior outfielder leads the team with a .471 batting average, six doubles and three home runs to slug .971. The award is the first of her career.Â
Reynolds and the defending Ivy League champion Tigers will open the Ivy season Friday against Brown with a 2 p.m. doubleheader at the Class of 1895 Field.
