Eye on the Tigers
After suffering its first loss of the season last week, the Tigers are now No. 7 in the IWLCA poll with a 6-1 record. Princeton rebounded from it's loss to ranked Penn State with an 18-8 drubbing of Dartmouth to stay unbeaten in league play at 2-0. Senior Olivia Hompe has 33 points on 24 goals and nine assists. She currently ranks fifth all-time in scoring at Princeton with 208 points - moving up two places after her five-points performance at Dartmouth. Freshman Tess D'Orsi has 20 goals and five assists, while junior feeder Colby Chanenchuk has 11 assists and seven goals. Sophomore Allie Rogers, junior Ellie McNulty and sophomore Kathryn Hallett are also in double digits in scoring. Sophomore defender Alex Argo has nine caused turnovers and 13 ground balls, while senior defender Amanda Leavell has eight caused turnovers and 13 ground balls. The pair also rank 3-4 on the team in draws, behind McNulty and sophomore Elizabeth George who have won 12 each. Senior Ellie DeGarmo sports a .574 save percentage and a 9.00 goals against average. She makes an average of 12 saves per game and recorded a career-high 17 in the win at Dartmouth on Saturday.

This is the first meeting between Princeton and Syracuse.
Common Threads
Princeton and Syracuse have played two common opponents this season: Virginia and Notre Dame. The Tigers defeated Virginia 17-10 on Feb. 25 on the road and topped Notre Dame 14-8 on March 11 when the Fighting Irish were ranked No. 8. The Orange beat Virginia 16-15 on March 5 and dropped a 16-7 game to Notre Dame this past Sunday - both games held at the Carrier Dome.
Scouting the Orange
Syracuse is ranked No. 10 in this week's IWLCA poll with an 8-3 overall record. The Orange are 1-3 in their last four games, with all three losses to ranked teams: Maryland, Florida and Notre Dame - while it defeated Harvard by one goal in overtime. Most recently, on Sunday afternoon, Syracuse suffered a 16-7 loss to Notre Dame. Sophomore Nicole Levy and junior Riley Donahue are the team's offensive leaders. Leavy has 19 goals and 15 assists, while Donahue has 19 goals and 12 assists. The team's next two highest contributors come off the bench, in redshirt freshman Mary Rahal and freshman Emily Hawryschuk who have 19 and 17 points, respectively. Six other players are in double digits in scoring including sophomore Natalie Wallon who has 14 goals and one assist, to go along with a team-high 16 caused turnovers, 23 ground balls and 15 draws. The Tigers will need to tame freshman draw specialist/defender Morgan Widner who has won more than 56 percent of the team's draws with a total of 91. In goal rookie Asa Goldstock has started in all 11 games and owns every decision. She has a .446 save percentage and an 11.40 GAA. Backup Bri Stahrr has played in seven games, stopping 10 of 22 in 68 minutes.
