The eighth-ranked Princeton open women will head to the Charles River this Saturday morning to begin a challenging two-week road stretch in the heart of their Ivy League season. The Tigers will face a pair of Top-15 programs during these next two weeks, including the upcoming Class of 1975 Cup race against both #14 Harvard and Cornell.
The regatta is slated to begin at 8:10 am, and will continue through the first varsity race at 10 am; all races are scheduled to be streamed live on the Ivy League Digital Network.
Princeton (4-0, 2-0 Ivy) followed up its strong opening-week performance against Brown and Michigan State with wins over Columbia and Clemson last weekend, and all three NCAA boats have perfect 4-0 marks through two weeks.
The Tigers have used a healthy mix of youth and experience in each of those three boats, including four underclassmen in the 1V and five in the 2V. Seniors are also in both boats as well, including the co-captain duo of Catherine Babiec and Georgie Howe, which helped the 1V to a strong performance on Overpeck Lake last weekend.
Princeton holds a 27-13 -1 all-time lead in the regatta.
