Princeton Baseball In The Pros: Bowman Records First Win Of The Season

PRINCETON, N.J. – Matt Bowman earned his first win of the year last week for the St. Louis Cardinals.
Matt Bowman '14 – St. Louis Cardinals (MLB) - Bowman picked up his victory last Thursday as the Cardinals defeated the Toronto Blue Jays, 8-4. Bowman threw a scoreless frame in the top of the 11th inning before Matt Carpenter hit a walk-off grand slam in the home half. The reliever also nabbed a hold later in the week and sits in a tie for second in baseball with seven holds.
