Weather Concerns Alter Ivy Women's Rowing Schedule; Finals Moved Earlier
May 13, 2017 | Women's Rowing - Open
For the second straight year, the Ivy League Championships schedule for women's rowing has been altered due to weather concerns. While Sunday's changes are far less dramatic than the ones from 2016, they will move the finals into the early afternoon.
Heats will begin at 8 am, while the finals will start at 12 pm. The Ivy League championship, which goes to the winner of the 1V race, will be determined at 2:15 pm. You can watch the full regatta on the Ivy League Digital Network.
The revised schedule can be found here. For the full Princeton preview, click here.
Last year, the Ivy League Championships were moved to a new course, and then altered to a morning-only format. Princeton came away with its 16th Ivy League title, and it is hoping to adapt to changes just as well this Sunday.
