The 32-pair bracket was announced Tuesday, and the highest-seeded pair in Princeton's quadrant of the bracket is fourth-seeded Wake Forest's Skander Mansouri and Christian Seraphim. The winner of Princeton's match will face the Wake Forest pair, should the Demon Deacon duo get past Kentucky's Beck Pennington and Enzo Wallart.
The match will be the first for either Tiger in the NCAA Doubles Championship and the first for any Princeton pair since Kyle Kliegerman '01 and John Portlock '01 in 2001.
Day and Gamble were ranked 59th in the nation on the May 4 ITA list, and while Braun and Foshey were ranked eighth, the Princeton pair already has three wins over ITA top-10 opponents this year. Day and Gamble beat Oklahoma State's Arjun Kadhe and Julian Cash, then ranked No. 1, in the fall before wins over then-No. 9 Tommy Bennett and David Warren of Rice and then-No. 9 Simon Freund and Morgan Mays of UC Santa Barbara in the spring.
Day and Gamble, who are 19-13 this year, last played together in the April 16 match at Brown. Braun and Foshey, also 19-13 this year, last played together on May 13 in MSU's NCAA second-round match against Oklahoma.
