Princeton Alums Snag Victories At Dew NBA 3x Tournaments

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Several former Tigers have been making an impact at the Mountain Dew 3v3 Basketball Tournaments across the country.

Dew NBA 3x is an elite basketball competition infused with unique basketball and entertainment elements. The tour travels to six cities with the winner earning the right to travel to Los Angeles (Sept. 30-Oct. 1) for the championship round. The championship winner will get the chance to represent the USA in the 2018 USA Basketball 3v3 National Tournament next April.

Yesterday in Brooklyn, Ariel Investments 2, with Blake Dietrick '15, Annie Tarakchian '16 and Laura Johnson '12 took home the title that sent them to the championship round in Los Angeles. In front, 13-11, as the clock expired, the squad's opponent, TA-9, was fouled and went to the free throw line for two shots. The player missed the first free throw, giving Ariel Investments 2 the victory.

Last month at tournament in Chicago, Ariel Investments, featuring Megan Bowen '13 and Cheryl Stevens '10, scored the title, also advancing to the championship round in Los Angeles.
