Princeton Baseball In The Pros: Mingo '16 Making Impact For Mahoning Valley

PRINCETON, N.J. – Cameron Mingo '16 has had a wonderful start to his 2017 season with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers (A).
Mingo threw two scoreless innings vs. the Batavia Muckdogs last Monday, earning his third victory of the season. On Friday, he earned his first career save, throwing the final frame as the Scrappers took home a 5-4 victory over the Auburn Doubledays. In nine games this season, Mingo has a 1.40 ERA and .98 WHIP.

Matt Bowman '14 – St. Louis Cardinals (MLB) – Bowman's incredible run of scoreless outings came to an end on Saturday as he took the loss against the Chicago Cubs, giving up his first run in 11 appearances.
The night before, the reliever picked up his second victory of the season as he got a ground out from the only batter he faced. In next half inning, St. Louis posted its highest scoring inning of the season with nine runs as the Cardinals earned an 11-4 decision.
