Princeton Baseball In The Pros: Mingo '16 Called Up To Lake County

PRINCETON, N.J. – Cameron Mingo '16 received a promotion to full-season Single-A last week and is now playing for the Lake County Captains of the Midwest League.
The 2016 Ivy League champion went 3-0 in 13 games for Mahoning Valley before the call-up with 19 strikeouts in 28 1/3 innings. In his first appearance for the Captains, Mingo threw three innings and gave up one run.

Matt Bowman '14 – St. Louis Cardinals (MLB) – The reliever's fabulous season has continued in the month of August. The Cardinal has not allowed a run this month and has not been scored on in eight consecutive appearances. He earned his third victory of the season on Wednesday vs. the Kansas City Royals while posting his second save of the season on Friday vs. the Atlanta Braves.
