New Tiger Football Podcast, The Original Eleven, Debuts With Preseason Chat With Bob Surace
August 24, 2017 | Football
As the 149th season of Tiger Football began with the team's first preseason practice Tuesday, the Princeton Podcast Network debuts its newest show — the Original Eleven. This podcast, which will provide weekly editions during the season and several more throughout the year, will focus solely on Princeton Football.
Craig Sachson, now in his 16th year handling communications for Princeton Football and in his ninth as the host of the 'TigerCast' podcast, will host The Original Eleven. During the season, the show will feature player and coach interviews, as well as a weekly conversation with radio play-by-play host Cody Chrusciel that looks at both the team and other interesting games and stories throughout the Ivy League.
For the debut edition, reigning Ivy League Head Coach of the Year Bob Surace joined the show to discuss the preseason — the mentality going in, position battles he is most interested in, and plenty more. The conversation lasts nearly 20 minutes, and it is loaded with the energy that Tiger fans have come to appreciate from the three-time finalist for FCS Coach of the Year honors.
You can listen to the podcast below, and you can subscribe to the Original Eleven, as well as all other Princeton podcasts (including TigerCast and LaxCast, as well as any postgame radio calls that are posted) by searching for 'Princeton Tigers' on iTunes, or your favorite podcast app.
