"We are very excited about the schedule we have assembled this season," Green said. "It's certainly one of the most competitive we've had in my 19 years, and offers us a great opportunity to compete against many of the best teams in the country. With four starters returning from last year's team and a great group of freshmen coming in, we felt it important to schedule as many national events as possible, while still maintaining our commitment to academic excellence. This schedule does exactly that."
The Tigers will begin with a return to Duke's Rod Myers Invitational, Sept. 16-17, after competing there last year. Dartmouth's Quechee Invitational in Quechee, Vt., where Princeton competed three years ago, follows Sept. 23-24. The team will then head back to New England for its annual visit to Yale's MacDonald Cup, where Princeton has competed for the last three years, Sept. 30-Oct. 1, before closing the fall at Northwestern's Windon Memorial. It'll be the Tigers' third straight season competing in that event outside Chicago. The spring season will begin with the NIT Hosted by Arizona, Feb. 26-27, where the Tigers will compete for the second straight year, two weeks before the team's inaugural visits to a pair of tournaments, Coastal Carolina's General Hackler Invitational, Mar. 10-11, and the Mission Inn Spring Spectacular, Mar. 17-18, hosted by George Mason outside Orlando, Fla.Â
