Men's Golf Team Set to Open Season at Duke's Myers Invitational

In the first of four scheduled tournaments this fall, the Princeton men's golf team will open its season Saturday for the 54-hole Rod Myers Invitational, hosted by Duke at its home course.

Princeton will begin teeing off at 7:35 a.m. on the 10th hole for Saturday's first round, and team tee times for Sunday's final round will begin at 7:55 a.m. Live scoring can be found via Golfstat here. The course is a par 72 measuring 7,154 yards.

UC Davis, East Carolina, East Tennessee State, Liberty, Louisville, UNC Greensboro, Oregon, Penn State, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest will join the Tigers and host Duke at the event. The field is a challenging one, with Vanderbilt as the No. 2 team, Oregon as the No. 9 team and Wake Forest as the No. 11 team in the GCAA preseason rankings.

Seniors Michael Davis, Mark Hedrick and Eric Mitchell and sophomores Evan Quinn and Vinay Ramesh will represent Princeton. Davis was a second-team All-Ivy League honoree a year ago, tying for sixth at the Ivy League Championships.
