Colina Collects Another NWPC Player of the Week Accolade

PRINCETON, N.J. – For third time in four weeks, Jordan Colina was honored as the Northeast Water Polo Conference Player of the Week.
Colina was one of the top players at the Mountain Pacific Invitational as he scored the third most goals (12) and finished sixth in points (15). Some of his highlights include four goals vs. No. 19 Pomona-Pitzer and three more tallies vs. No. 7 UC-Santa Barbara. He finished the weekend with the game-winning goal vs. No. 13 UC-San Diego with 12 seconds to go.
The senior has a team-high 36 goals, 48 points and 28 steals on the season. Colina has 192 goals in his career, good for seventh all-time, while his 89 assists are fifth in program history.
At 9-3 on the season, the Tigers begin NWPC play this weekend vs. No. 11 Harvard, MIT and No. 14 Brown at DeNunzio Pool. The Crimson come to town on Saturday night (7 p.m.) before a doubleheader on Sunday against MIT (10 a.m.) and Brown (2:30 p.m.). All games will be featured on the Ivy League Network.
