Peters, Duo Qualify to ITA Regional Main Draw as Tournament Opens

Rain forced play on the first day of the ITA Northeast Regional into Jadwin Gym and three other sites around the Princeton area, but Tiger freshmen Will Peters and Bill Duo each won twice to advance into the main draw.
Friday's schedule will see 9 a.m. doubles qualifiers followed by one round each of doubles and singles outdoors, weather permitting, beginning at 10 a.m.
Peters defeated Monmouth's Austin Klapman 6-2, 3-6, (12-10) and then Drexel's Youssef Lahlou 6-1, 6-2 to advance, and Duo beat Buffalo's Matthew Johnson 6-1, 5-7, (10-3) before defeating Army West Point's Diego Huttepain 6-2, 7-5.
