Princeton to Host ITA Northeast Regional Beginning Thursday

Princeton will host the ITA Northeast Regional for the first time in 11 years when the tournament begins Thursday.

The addresses for the off-campus indoor sites are as follows:
Eve Kraft Community Tennis Center, 92 Washington Road, Princeton, NJ 08540
Mercer County Tennis Center, Mercer County Park, West Windsor, NJ 08550
Hopewell Tennis and Swim Center, 4306, 111 Titus Mill Rd, Pennington, NJ 08534
From Princeton, Ryan Seggerman, Damian Rodriguez, Karl Poling, Davey Roberts, Payton Holden and Jimmy Wasserman will compete in main-draw singles while Will Peters and Bill Duo will be in the qualifying singles draw. Poling and Holden, Seggerman and Rodriguez, and Duo and Justin Barki will be in main-draw doubles.
Seeded singles players, which, from Princeton, includes Seggerman (9-16), Rodriguez (17-32), Poling (9-16) and Roberts (17-32), will begin singles play Saturday. The top eight doubles seeds, with Seggerman and Rodriguez among those, will also begin play Saturday. Poling and Holden are seeded 9-16.
The schedule for the event is as follows. Play will begin each day at 9 a.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 9: Draws are released at 6 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 11: Qualifying singles, two rounds, 64 players for 16 spots
Friday, Oct. 12: Qualifying doubles (one round, eight teams for four spots), round-of-64 doubles, round-of-128 singles
Saturday, Oct. 13: Round-of-32 doubles, round-of-16 doubles, round-of-64 singles, optional consolation singles
Sunday, Oct. 14: Quarterfinal doubles, round-of-32 singles, round-of-16 singles
Monday, Oct. 15: Semifinal doubles, quarterfinal singles, semifinal singles
Tuesday, Oct. 16: Finals of singles and doubles
The Northeast region includes Army West Point, Binghamton, Boston College, Brown, Bryant, Buffalo, Colgate, Columbia, Connecticut, Cornell, Dartmouth, Delaware, Drexel, Fairfield, Fairleigh Dickinson, Fordham, Harvard, Hofstra, La Salle, Lehigh, Marist, Monmouth, Niagara, NJIT, Penn, Princeton, Quinnipiac, Sacred Heart, St. Bonaventure, St. John's, Wagner and Yale.
