Princeton looks to stay unbeaten in the Ivy League when it hosts Brown on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 8 p.m., on Sherrerd Field. The Tigers are 4-4-1 overall and 0-1-1 in the league after a 2-2 draw with Dartmouth last Saturday. Seniors Jeremy Colvin and Sean McSherry have six points apiece with Colvin tallying a team-best three goals, while McSherry has two goals and two helpers. Sophomore Kevin O'Toole had a three-point game against Dartmouth to sit third in the scoring column. Junior Jacob Schachner has played every minute in goal and has a 0.84 goals against average and a .758 save percentage.
Brown has a 36-21-9 advantage in the all-time series, which began in 1948. The Bears are undefeated in the last three games with matching 1-0 wins the last three years while the teams played to a tie in 2015. Princeton's last win was a 2-1 game in 2014.
Brown is 4-4 on the season and opened the Ivy League schedule with a 3-1 loss to Columbia at home last Saturday. Daniel Schiller leads the offense with nine points on three goals and three assists. Matthew Chow and Derek Waleffe have each scored twice. The Bears have used all three keepers this season finding the most success with James Swomley. Swomley is 2-3 in his five appearances with a 1.99 GAA and a .500 save percentage. It was Max Gross that played in the most recent game, a full 90 against the Lions, and has a 1.11 GAA and an .800 save percentage in three total games.
