Walton Ties for Fifth to Lead Princeton in Virginia

Maya Walton tied for fifth at even par to lead Princeton as Old Dominion's Princess Anne Invitational came to a close Sunday at Princess Anne Country Club in in Virginia Beach, Va.
Walton, who carded a 3-under 67 Saturday, turned in an even-par scorecard Sunday to lead the team with Emma Zhao's third round of the tournament being her best of the weekend with a 1-over 71 Sunday.
The Tigers tied for 10th overall at +44 as Central Florida took the team title at +17 by four strokes over Campbell.
UCF's Elizabeth Moon won the individual title at -7 and by three strokes over Maryland's Virunpat Olankitkunchai as Moon matched Olankitkunchai' low round of the tournament with a 65 Sunday. Princeton's Maya Walton carded an even-par 70 to tie for fifth at even par for the tournament.
Complete results are available here. The Tigers will wrap the fall next Sunday and Monday at the Brown Bear Invitational in Massachusetts.
