Women's Tennis Team to Visit Yale for ITA Northeast Regional Beginning Thursday

Yale will host the ITA Northeast Regional beginning Thursday with berths at the ITA Fall Nationals at stake.
The main-draw doubles bracket is available here and a main-draw singles bracket is available here. Among Princeton's selections, Stephanie Schrage, Brianna Shvets, Grace Joyce, Nicole Kalhorn, Clare McKee and Nathalie Rodilosso were selected to main-draw singles, and Shvets and McKee, Rodilosso and Schrage, and Kalhorn and Joyce were selected for doubles play.
The event schedule is as follows:
Thursday, Oct. 11: Qualifying singles, two rounds starting at 10 a.m.
Friday, Oct. 12: Two rounds of doubles, one round of singles, 9 a.m. start, doubles first
Saturday, Oct. 13: Two rounds of singles, 9 a.m. start
Sunday, Oct. 14: Two rounds of doubles, one round of singles, 10 a.m. start, singles first
Monday, Oct. 15: One or two rounds of doubles, one round of singles, 10 a.m. start, singles first
Tuesday, Oct. 16: One round of doubles, two rounds of singles, 10 a.m. start, singles first
Heading into the event, Princeton's players are 42-18 in singles matches this fall and 17-8 in doubles. Rookie Joyce leads the team in singles wins at 8-1, and Joyce and Kalhorn (4-1) and Joyce and Rodilosso (4-0) lead the team in doubles wins.
The 2017 regional saw then-freshman Stephanie Schrage advance all the way to the singles final, where she fell 6-2, 6-4 to Syracuse's Gabriela Knutson. Schrage was subsequently invited to the ITA Fall Nationals, where she competed in three matches and won a consolation match. Amanda Muliawan '16 was the last Tiger to win the regional singles title, in 2012.
The event will continue through Tuesday. Aside from the ITA Fall Nationals, the ITA Regional will be the team's second-to-last event of the fall season, along with the FGCU Clay Court Classic in Florida Oct. 26-28.
