Fencers to Compete at Sacred Heart Sunday

The second day of duals for the Princeton fencing team will bring the Tigers to Sacred Heart for matches against the host Pioneers, NYU, Vassar and, for the men's team, NJIT.
Princeton began its season two weekends ago at Ohio State, facing a challenging slate of Ohio State, Notre Dame, North Carolina and Penn State, along with Cornell and Northwestern for the women. Rookie foil Mohamed Hamza led the men's team with nine wins, while defending NCAA épée champion junior Kasia Nixon led the women with a 17-1 record.
Following the Sacred Heart event, the team will be away from competition until the first weekend of February, when the Tigers compete at the Northwestern Duals.
Sunday's schedule is below:
10 a.m. vs. Sacred Heart
11 a.m. vs. NYU
2 p.m. vs. Vassar
3 p.m. vs. NJIT (men)
