Tigers Stay Perfect With Win Over Xavier; Kentucky in Sunday

The Tigers, ranked 24th in the nation by the USTA and receiving votes in the ITA poll, will have their next challenge Sunday when Kentucky, which is receiving votes in both polls, visits for a noon match. Video streaming of the contest is available via the Ivy League Network here.
Princeton began the day with a doubles-point win and then saw Stephanie Schrage, Nicole Kalhorn and Katrine Steffensen all win in straight sets in singles to clinch the match before Gaby Pollner and Tiffany Chen did the same. Clare McKee completed the sweep with a tiebreak third-set win.
The win is part of a run of 12 straight home matches to start the season, a stretch that will continue for the next two weekends after the Kentucky match Sunday.
