Quinn Leads Tigers in Arizona

The first tournament of the spring season is in the books for the Princeton men's golf team as the Tigers finished 16th at the NIT Hosted by Arizona held at the Omni Tucson.
Sophomore Evan Quinn was the top Tiger, tying for 68th overall at +6. Rookie Sam Clayman posted Princeton's third eagle of the tournament on the par-5 10th hole in Monday's third round after sophomore Vinay Ramesh did so on the same hole in Sunday's first round while rookie Jake Mayer did so on the par-5 second hole in the same round. Ramesh withdrew from Monday's round due to illness.
UNLV won the tournament at -50 by eight shots over Arizona State. The Rebels' Shintaro Ban took medalist honors at -16, two shots better than a trio of players including North Texas' Ian Snyman, ASU's Chun An Yu and Iowa State's Denzel Ieremia.Â

The Tigers will hit the course again at the General Hackler Invitational hosted by Coastal Carolina Mar. 10-11 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
