Myrtle Beach Up Next for Tigers This Weekend

The second tournament of the spring will bring the Princeton men's golf team to the General Hackler Invitational hosted by Coastal Carolina at The Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The event will feature two rounds Saturday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start and one round Sunday with tee times determined by place and starts ranging from 8:30 to 10:50 a.m. The course will measure 7,233 yards and have a par of 72.
Along with Princeton and host Coastal Carolina, the 15-team field includes East Carolina, East Tennessee State, Georgia Tech, Kent State, Kentucky, Liberty, LSU, N.C. State, North Florida, South Carolina, Texas A&M, Virginia and Virginia Tech. It's another challenging field, with 14 of the 15 teams in the March 2 Golfweek top 100, a group led by No. 3 Texas A&M, No. 10 Georgia Tech and No. 11 LSU.
Princeton opened its spring season Feb. 25-26 at the NIT Hosted by Arizona. Sophomore Evan Quinn led Princeton, tying for 68th overall as Princeton finished 16th as a team. The Hackler tournament is the second of four regular-season events in the spring for the Tigers, who will head to George Mason's Mission Inn Spring Spectacular in Florida next weekend.
