Meyers Honored as Ivy League Co-Rookie of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Abby Meyers has been honored as the Ivy League Co-Rookie of the Week for her performances against Dartmouth and Harvard.

She finished the weekend with 16.0 points per game on 55.6 percent shooting and 54.5 percent shooting from beyond the arc. It's her second Rookie of the Week accolade as she picked up the award on Nov. 27. Imani Whittington of Columbia also grabbed Rookie of the Week honors with Meyers.

Meyers began the road trip with a 6-of-9 shooting performance at Dartmouth, finishing 15 points. The freshman made three treys, added two rebounds, two assists, a steal and block. At Harvard, Meyers had 17 points, making all six free throws and knocking down three three-pointers. The freshman also grabbed six rebounds and a steal.
The Tigers host Brown (Mar. 2) and Yale (Mar. 3) this weekend. The Brown game gets underway at 6:30 p.m. and can be seen on the Ivy League Network and ESPN3. With one win, Princeton can clinch the No. 1 seed in the Ivy League Tournament.
