Flynn Selected As Ivy League Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – For the first time in his career, Joseph Flynn has been selected as the Ivy League Player of the Week, the conference announced today.
Flynn began the three-game set against South Carolina with three hits in a 9-2 loss to the Gamecocks. In game two, Flynn reached base twice and had a RBI. He completed the series with two more hits including a home run and two runs scored. He finished the series with a .545/.583/.909 slash line and 10 total bases. Flynn was honored as Ivy Co-Rookie of the Week once in his freshman season.
The junior leads the team in hitting in the early start of the season, posting a .357 average along with a team-high 17 total bases and .400 on-base percentage. He has two home runs, four RBI and three runs scored so far as well.
Princeton travels to Georgetown next week for a four-game set beginning on Friday (Mar. 16). First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m.
