After No-Hitter, Reynolds Earns Ivy Weekly Honors

Following her no-hitter Saturday against Florida A&M, Princeton freshman Allie Reynolds has been named the Ivy League Pitcher and Rookie of the Week.
The awards are the first for Reynolds and first for Princeton since eventual Ivy Rookie of the Year Allison Harvey was named Ivy Rookie of the Week on April 24, 2017 and Erica Nori '17 was named Ivy Pitcher of the Week on March 20, 2017 after Princeton's last no-hitter two days earlier against North Dakota.
In Princeton's 1-0 win over the Rattlers, FAMU's only base-runners came on two errors around Reynolds and one hit batter. The no-hitter is the sixth in program history by a freshman and first seven-inning no-hitter by a Tiger rookie since 1988, when Dawn Roberts '91 no-hit Villanova.
Reynolds has thrown 48 of the team's 83 innings so far on the season. The Tigers are scheduled to play again Tuesday with a doubleheader at Stetson followed by a Wednesday twinbill at Central Florida before the Ivy season begins Saturday at '95 Field against Brown.
