Wan Collects 200th Career Goal; No. 3 USC Too Much For No. 15 Princeton

LOS ANGELES – The No. 3 USC Trojans ended the No. 15 Princeton Tigers' seven-game winning streak with a 17-4 decision at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center on Thursday evening.

USC registered the first two goals of the game before Lindsey Kelleher's tally with 3:32 left in first quarter. The Trojans pushed forward with the next four tallies, going in front, 6-1, as the clock ticked under six minutes to go in the first half. Wan's 200th career goal got the Tigers within three, 6-3, but USC's offense rolled off five more tallies. In front by eight at the break (11-3), the Trojans held the Tigers off the scoreboard in the third stanza and were never threatened.
Wan is one of six players all-time to reach the 200-goal milestone. She has recorded at least 40 goals in each of the past three seasons and is a two-time All-American. After a week break, Princeton gets into Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) action on Apr. 7 vs. St. Francis (9 a.m.) and No. 13 Indiana (2 p.m.).
