Scouting the Orange
Syracuse enters tonight's game sporting a 6-4 overall record and is looking to snap a two-game losing skid from its trip to the Midwest facing Notre Dame and Northwestern. Prior to those games the Orange topped Ivy League squads Havard and Cornell. Nicole Levy and Emily Hawryschuk lead the Orange offense with Levy scoring 27 goals and seven assists, and Hawryschuk 28 goals and four assists. Riley Donahue and Sam Swart have each reach the 20-point plateau. The Orange will look to Julie Cross, Kerry Defliese and Neena Merola to win draws as they combine for 60 percent of the team's draws. Defliese along with Ella Simkins are the team leaders in caused turnovers. Syracuse has used four goalkeepers this season with Asa Goldstock starting in all 10. Goldstock has a .455 save percentage and a 14.79. Hannah Van Middelem has appeared in six games and has a .439 save percentage and a 12.28 GAA.
