Princeton Rallies to Beat Brown in Marathon Match, Stay Perfect in Ivy

Now, the Tigers (5-0 Ivy) will meet the only other Ivy-unbeaten team, Harvard, in a 1 p.m. Saturday match at the Lenz Tennis Center that will guarantee the winner at least a share of the Ivy League title. The match will be indoors in Jadwin in the event of inclement weather.
Brown won the doubles point, but Princeton responded with wins on the top three singles courts and the Tiger lead stood at 3-2 once Brown won on court four. With just four indoor courts available, that shifted the focus to the matches at fifth and sixth singles, and Brown tied the contest in straight sets with a win on five.
Nathalie Rodilosso, who teamed with Sara Goodwin at third doubles to tie the pursuit of that point, rallied from a first-set tiebreak loss to win the second set 6-3 and battle all the way to another tiebreak with opponent Juliana Simon. Rodilosso controlled that tiebreak, winning 7-1 to put Princeton at 5-0 in the Ivy League heading into next weekend's title-deciding matches.
