Princeton Completes 7-0 Ivy Season, NCAA Tournament Next
April 22, 2018 | Women's Tennis
A day after ensuring it'd advance to the NCAA tournament for the fourth time in five years, the 45th-ranked Princeton women's tennis team completed a perfect Ivy League season Sunday with a 5-2 win over Dartmouth at the Lenz Tennis Center.
The Tigers had to rebound from losing the doubles point, as was the case Saturday in the Ivy-clinching win over Harvard, but just as they did the day before, the team came up big in singles play, getting wins from Nicole Kalhorn, Clare McKee, Nathalie Rodilosso and Gaby Pollner to get to four points before Stephanie Schrage added the fifth point.
The 7-0 Ivy season is the fourth in program history and first since 2014, joining 2000 and 2010. The Tigers will find out their NCAA tournament destination Tuesday, May 1 at 5 p.m. on NCAA.com.
