Sowers Named One Of 25 Nominees For Tewaaraton Trophy

Sowers, the Princeton sophomore, was named one of 25 nominees for the Tewaaraton Award, given each year to the outstanding male and outstanding female player in college lacrosse. The five finalists will be announced May 10th.
Sowers was earlier named to the USILA's 17-member Player of the Year watchlist. Sowers is one of 13 players who is on both lists.
Sowers has already set the Princeton record for assists in a season with 54, and he is three points away from tying his own school record of 82 points in a season. Princetons hosts Cornell Saturday in the final game of the regular season.
