Women's Squash Welcomes Impressive Quartet Into Class Of 2022
May 22, 2018 | Women's Squash
Losing a pair of All-America honorees is challenging for any program, but the Princeton women's squash team believes it has an incoming class that should keep the momentum from a terrific 2017-18 season moving forward.
Head coach Gail Ramsay welcomed her highly touted Class of 2022 recently. The quartet of Bubble Lui, Emily Rose, Elle Ruggiero, and Andrea Toth brings both national and international accolades to a Princeton team that held the #1 spot in the national rankings during the middle of the season and finished second in the Ivy League in 2018.
The group has potential to enhance every area of the lineup, including a top that loses four-time first-team All-American Olivia Fiechter. The Tigers return freshmen who played at both the #2 (Raneem El Torky) and #3 (Grace Doyle) spots, meaning Princeton could have one of the best and youngest top portions of the lineup in years.
