Quinn Earns Ping All-Region Honors
May 26, 2018 | Men's Golf
Evan Quinn led or co-led Princeton in every event during the 2017-18 fall and spring seasons, and the sophomore has been recognized as one of 25 Division I PING All-Northeast Region honorees.Â
Quinn lowered his stroke average by one to 73.24 this season, leading to a trio of top-10 finishes and highlighted by a tie for first at the Quechee Invitational last fall in which he came up just short of medalist honors in a playoff. Quinn's low round of 67 came in the second round of the General Hackler Invitational in South Carolina and was the lowest round for any Tiger on the year.
It's the third straight year Princeton has had an honoree in the Northeast, one of the six regions nationally for the award. Senior Michael Davis was selected a year ago and Quinn Prchal '17 was recognized two years ago. The complete list of this year's all-region honorees can be found here.
