Princeton Summer Ball: Smith Sees Action in Prestigious Cape Cod League

PRINCETON, N.J. – Ryan Smith got his summer season underway for the Cotuit Kettleers of the prestigious Cape Cod League. He is one of the 13 players for the Princeton Tigers playing this summer.

Ryan Smith – Cape Cod League – Cotuit Kettleers – Smith picked up the win vs. the Orleans Firebirds on Wednesday. He pitched two scoreless relief frames, striking out two as the Kettleers rallied with five runs in the seventh inning for the comeback 5-4 decision. Smith has six strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings so far and has not allowed a run.
James Proctor – New England Collegiate Baseball League – Mystic Schooners – Proctor had his best start of the season for Schooners, pitching six innings with six punchouts against the Plymouth Pilgrims. Proctor gave up one unearned run and just two hits in a 12-6 victory. In 14 1/3 innings this season, Proctor has not given up an earned run.
Eli Kimbell - New England Collegiate Baseball League – Mystic Schooners – Kimbell has seen action in two games for the Schooners and has struck out one hitter in 2 1/3 innings.
Andrew Gnazzo - New England Collegiate Baseball League – Danbury Westerners – Gnazzo saw time in three games over the week and sits with nine strikeouts in 4 1/3 innings for the Westerners this summer.
Keith Gabrielson – Coastal Plain League – Wilmington Sharks – Gabrielson has five strikeouts in 4 2/3 frames for the Sharks.
Jack Anderson - Coastal Plain League – Gastonia Grizzlies – Anderson appeared in two games for the Grizzlies over the week, finishing with three strikeouts in two innings.
Chris Davis - Coastal Plain League – Holly Springs Salamanders – Davis has walked five times, scored three runs and stolen two bases for the Salamanders in 10 games.
David Harding – Valley League – TomSox – Harding has played in two games for the TomSox.
Sy Snedeker – Texas Collegiate League – Brazos Valley Bombers – The Tigers' catcher has appeared in three games for the Bombers.
Jake Boone – California Collegiate League – SoCal Catch – Boone has two extra base hits in 10 games for the Catch.
Conor Nolan – Futures League – Bristol Blues – In 10 games for the Blues, Nolan has scored four runs, knocked in four RBI and walked four times.
Connor Udell – Florida Collegiate League – DeLand Suns – Udell registered his third win of the season last Saturday against the Seminole County Scorpions, throwing five scoreless frames. He sits with 1.58 ERA in 17 innings for the Suns.
Alex Dickinson – Florida Collegiate League – Sanford River Rats – Dickinson has eight at-bats in three games for the River Rats and has scored a run.
