Princeton Welcomes Nine Swimmers Into Class of 2022
June 22, 2018 | Men's Swimming and Diving
The Princeton men's swimming and diving team introduced nine talented and versatile swimmers who will comprise its incoming Class of 2022. This group provides a strong infusion of talent for a squad that placed second in the Ivy League, but also lost a strong senior class, including 2018 Ivy champion Zach Buerger, and former NCAA qualifiers Corey Okubo and Alex Lewis.

Seven Hills School

I hope to be a positive influence on the team and be a guy that my teammates can lean on.

What was the biggest factor(s) in choosing Princeton?
The academic rigor and focused team found at Princeton meant I would get a great education while also being a part of a hard-working group of athletes. The faculty at Princeton and focus on undergraduate students meant I would get an education second to none.
What is something specific you hope to bring to the team?
I bring a strong work ethic which will resonate well with the other swimmers. I'm focused in the pool and in the classroom trying to make the most out of my time at Princeton with my teammates.
What is something unique about yourself?
For my senior research project in high school I built a propane furnace to accompany my custom built 3d printer. Using wax filament, I printed 3D models for lost wax casting. I've made jewelry and other small metal pieces with this method.
