Diving Coach Drew Livingston Named Head Coach At Virginia

Drew Livingston has announced his resignation as the head men's and women's diving coach at Princeton. He has accepted a similar position at the University of Virginia, which will be announced in the near future by the Cavaliers Swimming & Diving program.

Livingston, who spent two years leading the Princeton diving program, oversaw a terrific 2017-18 season, which saw both teams send at least one representative to the NCAA Championships. On the men's side, both freshman Colten Young and sophomore Charlie Minns qualified for all three events at the NCAA Championships, with Young earning a Top-30 place on the platform. That followed a memorable effort by Young at the 2018 Ivy League Championships, where he posted the seventh-best score in Ivy history on the 3-meter board.

On the women's side, Sine Scribbick qualified for the NCAA Championships on the 3-meter board, and that followed a strong season for both her and a trio of young women's divers, all of whom will return for the 2018-19 season.

A national search will begin immediately to find Livingston's successor.
