Princeton Baseball In The Pros: Hale Earns Win for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre

PRINCETON, N.J. – David Hale '11 earned his first victory over the season for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders last Wednesday.
Hale pitched into the seventh inning, scattering just two hits. He struck out three hitters as the RailRiders dropped the Louisville Bats, 3-1. Former Tiger Mike Ford '14 also homered in the contest.

Danny Barnes – Toronto Blue Jays – MLB – Barnes' best performance over the week came on Friday as he pitched 1 1/3 scoreless innings against the Detroit Tigers. It was his first scoreless outing since May 23rd.

On Thursday, Ford walked three times and scored a run. The next day against the Indianapolis Indians, the first baseman registered two hits and two RBI. Ford now has eight home runs and 27 RBI for the RailRiders. His eight round trippers are tied for seventh in the International League.
