Davis Puts Up Exceptional Week for Holly Springs

PRINCETON – Andrew Gnazzo and Chris Davis had tremendous weeks for their respective summer teams.
Let's see how the summer is going for Princeton …
Ryan Smith – Cape Cod League – Cotuit Kettleers – Smith appeared in one game over the past week, striking out two at Bourne on Monday. In nine outings, the Tigers' starter is 1-0 with a 2.89 ERA.
James Proctor – New England Collegiate Baseball League – Mystic Schooners – Proctor punched out six hitters in 4 2/3 innings at New Bedford on Tuesday.
Eli Kimbell - New England Collegiate Baseball League – Mystic Schooners – Kimbell threw a scoreless outing against Danbury, striking out a batter yesterday. He also picked up three strikeouts in 1 2/3 frames at Keene on Monday.
Andrew Gnazzo - New England Collegiate Baseball League – Danbury Westerners – Gnazzo saw action in three games, not allowing a hit in four innings and striking out five. He earned the win on Tuesday against Upper Valley with two scoreless stanzas. The Tiger also struck out all four hitters he faced against Mystic yesterday.
Keith Gabrielson – Coastal Plain League – Wilmington Sharks – Gabrielson has eight strikeouts in 10 2/3 innings along with a 1-1 record, a 5.06 ERA and two saves.
Jack Anderson - Coastal Plain League – Gastonia Grizzlies – Anderson has 13 strikeouts in 13 2/3 innings for the Grizzlies.
Chris Davis - Coastal Plain League – Holly Springs Salamanders – Davis posted three consecutive three-hit performances, scoring two runs in each game during the week. In a 12-2 victory over the Asheboro Copperheads, Davis recorded four RBI and stole a base. The outfielder has raised his batting average to .291 and his on-base percentage to .400.
David Harding – Valley League – TomSox – Harding doubled and came around to score in the TomSox's 17-0 victory against the Cardinals on Monday.
Sy Snedeker – Texas Collegiate League – Brazos Valley Bombers – Snedeker recorded hits in his last two games including an RBI vs. the Cane Cutters.
Jake Boone – California Collegiate League – SoCal Catch – In his last game, Boone snagged an RBI and scored a run in a 13-8 loss to the Riptide on Wednesday.
Conor Nolan – Futures League – Bristol Blues – Nolan has eight RBI and six runs scored in 14 games.
Connor Udell – Florida Collegiate League – DeLand Suns – Udell pitched into the fifth inning against the Squeeze yesterday.
Alex Dickinson – Florida Collegiate League – Sanford River Rats – Dickinson has walked five times in his last two games and registered three runs. His on-base percentage has jumped to .459 in his 12 games for the River Rats.
