Princeton Summer Ball: Gnazzo's Tremendous Summer Goes On

PRINCETON - Andrew Gnazzo's sparkling summer has continued for the Danbury Westerners as he earned the save last night. He has a 3.14 ERA in 13 games with 19 strikeouts.

Ryan Smith – Cape Cod League – Cotuit Kettleers – Smith had an uneven week, throwing a perfect frame vs. Falmouth on Sunday before allowing six runs vs. Harwich two days later. He is currently on a streak of at least two strikeouts in each of his last three outings.
James Proctor – New England Collegiate Baseball League – Mystic Schooners – The Tigers' starter has given up nine runs in his last two outings, but has punched out 10 hitters during those nine frames. He sits with a 2-3 record and 3.85 ERA in seven starts, striking out 31 in 30 1/3 innings.
Eli Kimbell - New England Collegiate Baseball League – Mystic Schooners – The 2018 co-winner of the Edward J. Donovan Award has 13 strikeouts in 10 2/3 innings this summer. Kimbell allowed more than one run in an outing for the first time in a month last night against Ocean State.
Andrew Gnazzo - New England Collegiate Baseball League – Danbury Westerners – Gnazzo's fabulous run continued as he picked up the save in the Westerners' 5-2 victory at Valley on Sunday. The Tiger has been scored on once in his last nine appearances.
Keith Gabrielson – Coastal Plain League – Wilmington Sharks – Gabrielson saw action in four games over the past week and is currently in a stretch of three straight scoreless outings. He's picked up three consecutive saves, striking out six.
Jack Anderson - Coastal Plain League – Gastonia Grizzlies – Anderson pitched on Monday against the High Point-Thomasville HiToms and had a 1-2-3 stanza.
Chris Davis - Coastal Plain League – Holly Springs Salamanders – The outfielder had a hit and stole a base against Fayetteville on Sunday. For the season, he has 11 runs, eight RBI and five stolen bases.
David Harding – Valley League – TomSox – Harding has three RBI, two runs and a stolen base for the TomSox in eight games.
Sy Snedeker – Texas Collegiate League – Brazos Valley Bombers – The Tigers' catcher has raised his batting average 111 points with a current five-game hitting streak. He also a RBI in his last four games, adding three walks.
Jake Boone – California Collegiate League – SoCal Catch – Boone played in the California Collegiate League's Prospect Game two days ago, going 0-for-2.
Conor Nolan – Futures League – Bristol Blues – Nolan has eight RBI and six runs scored in 14 games.
Connor Udell – Florida Collegiate League – DeLand Suns – Udell allowed three runs in a 13-11 victory over Lighting yesterday.
Alex Dickinson – Florida Collegiate League – Sanford River Rats –Dickinson scored twice, had two hits and a RBI in the River Rats' 13-7 win over the Diamond Dawgs last night.
