Princeton Summer Ball: Galvin and Smithers '17 Helping Ireland National Team

PRINCETON, N.J. – As the summer season is coming to an end for several leagues, Brendan Galvin and Keelan Smithers' 17 have been representing the Ireland National Team on the international stage.
Ryan Smith – Cape Cod League – Cotuit Kettleers – In his one appearance over the week yesterday, Smith threw 2 2/3 scoreless frames, striking out two and allowing two hits.
James Proctor – New England Collegiate Baseball League – Mystic Schooners – Proctor struck out three hitters in 3 2/3 innings of work in a 6-3 loss to Winnipesaukee on Tuesday.
Eli Kimbell - New England Collegiate Baseball League – Mystic Schooners – The 2018 co-winner of the Edward J. Donovan Award has 13 strikeouts in 10 2/3 innings this summer.
Andrew Gnazzo - New England Collegiate Baseball League – Danbury Westerners – Gnazzo threw up another outstanding performance striking out four of the five outs he got in the Westerners' 3-1 victory over New Bedford on Saturday.
Keith Gabrielson – Coastal Plain League – Wilmington Sharks – Gabrielson did not appear in a game last week. He's in a stretch of three straight scoreless outings. He's picked up three consecutive saves, striking out six.
Jack Anderson - Coastal Plain League – Gastonia Grizzlies – Anderson did not see action last week. He has 13 punchouts in 14 2/3 innings.
Chris Davis - Coastal Plain League – Holly Springs Salamanders – The outfielder produced an RBI in Salamanders' 4-2 victory over the Morehead City Marlins last night.
David Harding – Valley League – TomSox – Harding has three RBI, two runs and a stolen base for the TomSox in eight games.
Sy Snedeker – Texas Collegiate League – Brazos Valley Bombers – The rising sophomore has upped his hitting streak to seven games, including a three-hit outing against the Twins on Wednesday. He has 10 RBI during this streak and has scored four runs.
Jake Boone – California Collegiate League – SoCal Catch – Boone had three hits against Arroyo on Tuesday and scored a run. He has a hit in six of his last eight games.
Conor Nolan – Futures League – Bristol Blues – Nolan has eight RBI and six runs scored in 14 games.
Connor Udell – Florida Collegiate League – DeLand Suns – Udell collected four scoreless stanzas, allowing just one hit in a 3-2 win over the Scorpions yesterday. The Suns are the No. 2 seed in the Florida Collegiate League playoffs.
Alex Dickinson – Florida Collegiate League – Sanford River Rats – The Princeton catcher has produced a .404 on-base percentage in 16 games for the River Rats.
Brendan Galvin – European Championship Qualifier - Ireland National Team - Galvin is playing for the Ireland National Team in the C-Pool of the European Championship Qualifier. Ireland is on top of the pool at 3-0 with one more game today. Prior to Ireland's 10-0 victory over Greece, Galvin received the ceremonial first pitch from Reece Smyth, the United States Ambassador to Ireland and a Princeton alum. Galvin is also a teammate of Keelan Smithers '17.
