Tigers Close Fall's First Weekend at Alabama, Penn

At Alabama, Damian Rodriguez battled Tulane's Tim Ruetzel to a 6-4, 6-4 defeat in the final round of his singles draw, while Ryan Seggerman won his last match at the event, in the consolation round.
At Penn, Princeton swept its four doubles matches and took four of seven in singles, with Karl Poling, Jimmy Wasserman, Bill Duo and Justin Barki winning in both.
"We posted some good results this weekend and our guys gained from the experience," Princeton coach Billy Pate said. "Ryan finished strong with a convincing win today. Though Damian didn't win the finals of his flight, he had a great performance this weekend and will give us some great things to build on with his game. I know they valued the experience at Penn as well and it allowed us to get lots of matches for everyone. We'll get back to work this week in preparation for home events three out of the next four weekends."
The Tigers will host the Ivy Plus Invitational next weekend as the fall season continues.
